Search operations are ongoing for at least nine crew of a cement ship that sank off Batangas province Thursday evening.
The Philippine Coast Guard said the vessel was loaded with 20,000 sacks of cement. Initial information indicated the that the ship went down off of Lobo in Batangas.
The Coast Guard said 11 crew were rescued, but nine are still unaccounted for.
