Aggregate Industries, part of the LafargeHolcim group, has appointed François Pétry as its Chief Executive Officer from 1st December 2015. 

Pétry joins from his current role as CEO of LafargeHolcim Romania where he has grown the business and led the way in ensuring the company’s recovery from a challenging market since his appointment in early 2014. He has a strong background in quarrying having held the role of General Manager for Aggregates in Holcim France since 2008 and prior to that, held senior roles in infrastructure, construction and waste industries in France. He has a degree in Engineering from the Ecole Nationale Superieure d’Arts et Metiers, ParisTech, as well as an executive MBA from the Ecole des Hautes Etudes Commerciales de Paris. Commenting on his appointment as CEO, Pétry said: "I’m proud to be joining a business with such a strong pedigree in the industry. There’s no doubt that Aggregate Industries is growing from strength to strength and, as part of the LafargeHolcim Group, we now have unrivalled access to industry experts across the globe."
