Cement sales in Indonesia rose by 1.8 per cent to 61Mt in 2015 thanks to the latest surge of government infrastructure projects in the latter half of the year, thet Indonesia Cement Association (ASI) said on Tuesday.
"We closed [2015] in a positive way," ASI chairman, Widodo Santoso, told the Jakarta Globe.
Cement producers are now targeting between 4-6 per cent growth this year counting on government infrastructure projects, Widodo added.
