Turkey: Aumund to supply Çimsa Cimento

The Turkish Çimsa Cimento ordered 24 Aumund machines for the mill at Çimsa, including 18 deep drawn pan conveyors, five bucket elevators with central chain and a pivoting pan conveyor.

All AUMUND machines will be used for transporting clinker. The deep drawn pan conveyors have a pan width from 600 to 1400mm and axis-centre distances between 17 and 139m. They have a conveying capacity from 106 to 548tph. The five bucket elevators with central chain have axis-centre distances from 26 to 42m and have been designed for a transport capacity from 240-472tph.

The pan conveyor of type SPB (axis-centre distance: 108m), has a conveying capacity of 180tpd and will be delivered to Çimsa Cimento with six discharge stations.

With five plants in Mersin, Eskişehir, Kayseri, Niğde and Afyonkarahisar, a mill in Ankara and two cement packaging plants in Marmara and Malatya, Çimsa is one of the leading companies of the Turkish cement industry.
