Sinoma Energy Conservation Co will supply and setup a power generation plant for Fauji Cement Co Ltd (FCCL), which will produce 7.6MW electricity by capping waste heat gases of cement plant from Line-1
and the Wartsila captive power plant.
The project will commence on 1 January 2017 and will be commissioned in 14 months. This will be the second Waste Heat Recovery (WHR) power plant after the first one with a capacity of 12MW was commissioned on Line-2 on 23 March 2015.
On completion of the project, Fauji Cement together with already installed power generation plants, on the whole will have the capacity to indigenously produce almost 80 pewr cent of its total electricity requirements.
