State-owned cement manufacturer Semen Indonesia will distribute cash dividends worth IDR304.92/share from its 2016 fiscal year.
The total dividends that will be distributed amount to IDR1.8trn, or the equivalent of 40 per cent of the company’s 2016 net profit of IDR4.52trn.
Rizkan Chandra, president director of Semen Indonesia, said the dividend plan was approved by the company’s shareholders during an annual meeting in Jakarta on 31 March 2017. He added that Semen Indonesia will set aside its remaining net profit as a reserve fund.
