Monarch Cement’s board of directors has appointed Kent A Webber as new president of the board.
He succeeds Walter H Wulf Jr, who will remain as chairman of the board and director at the cement producer. He will share day-to-day decisions with Mr Webber and gradually transfer responsibilities to him.
Kent A Webber started at Monarch Cement in January 2013, as subsidiary operations manager, and has been executive vice-president since 1 September 2015.
The board also appointed Tony Kasten as assistant secretary-treasurer. Mr Kasten joined Monarch in March 2002 as staff accountant and has been controller since April 2014. He is a Certified Public Accountant and graduate of Pittsburg State University with a BA in Finance and an MBA in Accounting.
