In November 2017, Indonesia’s domestic cement consumption continued to grow rapidly, rising to 6,365,491t, a 12.1 per cent rise compared to November 2016. Total exports were 281,065t (+178.8 per cent) of which cement exports were 121,727t (+81.4 per cent) while clinker exports were 159,339Tt (+327.5 per cent).
YtD domestic consumption was recorded at 60,551,621t (+7.8 per cent) and total exports were 2,567,759t (+71.7 per cent) of which cement exports were 981,791t (+104.4 per cent) and clinker exports were 1,585,967T (+56.3 per cent).
Semen Indonesia’s domestic sales in November 2017 were 2,566,901T (+11.3 per cent) or 40.4 per cent of the country’s domestic sales. Its exports, from plants at Padang and Tonasa, in November were 169,638t (+152.9 per cent) which represent 60.4 per cent of the country’s exports. Including exports, Semen Indonesia’s total sales volume in November 2017 was 2,736,539t (+15.3 per cent), while YtD 2017 sales amounted to 26,432,376t (+9.9 per cent).
