India-based Mangalam Cement has submitted its results for the quarter ending December 2017, which feature a 46 per cent YoY decrease in net profit to INR27m (US$420,126) from INR58.5m. However, revenue has increased eight per cent to INR2.92bn from INR2.7bn of the year-ago period.
The company has also received approval to construct a 11MW waste heat recovery unit at its plant in Morak, Rajasthan, according to Reuters.
