FLSmidth has announced the location of its most recent North African cement plant order. The Denmark-based turnkey provider will deliver a complete state-of-the-art cement plant for ETHRB Group located in Relizane, Algeria. The order includes engineering, equipment supply, construction supervision, commissioning and training.
The EUR100m order is in part a result of the partnership between FLSmidth and Beijing Triumph International Engineering Co, part of the China National Building Material Group Corp (CNBM Group), which will be responsible for the construction of the cement plant.
The 12,000tpd plant is expected to be completed by end of 2020. FLSmidth's main equipment supply includes:
• Two EV™ 200x300 hammer impact crushers
• one additive crusher
• two circular storages
• one longitudinal storage
• two ATOX® raw mills
• two CF-silos (ø18m x 52m)
• two preheaters (two-string inline calciner, five stages)
• two kilns (5.25m x 62m)
• two Cross-Bar® coolers (16m x 50m)
• clinker silo (ø60m x 46m)
• three OK™ 61-4 cement mills
• four cement silos (ø22m x 52m)
• six packing lines.
The project will take 37 months to complete and will be broken down into five stages:
- Cement Mill 1 after 18 months
- Clinker Production Line 1 after 26 months
- Cement Mill 2 after 29 months
- Clinker Production Line 2 after 31 months
- Cement Mill 3 after 34 months (+ 3 months for the last milestone and the entire plant).
