The Vietnamese Ministry of Construction has approved Long Thanh Cement JSC’s plans to raise the capacity at its facility in Tan Tao, Ha Nam, from 0.91Mta to 2.3Mta. The Ministry also permitted the company to change the name of the unit to Long Thanh cement plant, according to Viet Nam News.

The plant was constructed at an initial investment of VND1.3trn (US$56.52m) has a clinker capacity of 2500tpd.
