INSEE Ecocyle Lanka launches Ecocycle Environmental Services

Insee Cement's subsidiary INSEE Ecocyle Lanka is launching an eco-friendly service called Ecocycle Environmental Services  to collect and process waste from industries around the Biyagama Export Processing Zone, Sri Lanka.

INSEE Ecocycle has established a range of much needed industrial waste management services, including laboratory services, e-waste management, emergency response, training and consultancy, specialised logistics, sought after by corporate customers for sustainability endeavours.

The new service is in keeping with the Siam City Group's trend in Asia to diversify into waste management with the long-term vision of minimising the impact of waste that has become a serious threat for the planet.

Speaking to the gathering at the launch of the new environmental service, INSEE Ecocycle Lanka Director, Sanjeewa Chulakumara, said: "We have taken a progressive step forward by making INSEE Ecocycle an independent legal entity with the single minded mission of providing a lasting solution to the country’s problem of waste that threatens the health of nation."
