Anjani Portland Cement has reported total revenue of INR1282.8m (US$15.4m) in the quarter ended 31 March 2024. This compares to INR960.5m in the same period a year earlier. A net loss of INR16.3m was seen over the March 2024 quarter, marking a slight improvement on the INR18m loss posted in the same period in 2023.
Total expenses, meanwhile, expanded from INR981m in the March 2023 quarter to INR1342m in the same period a year later. Earnings per share fell from a loss of INR0.50 at 31 March 2023 to a loss of INR0.55 at 31 March 2024.
For the year ended 31 March 2024, total income stood at INR4597.5m, up from INR4225.9m in the year-ago period. Over the same timeframe, the net loss improved from INR189.2m to INR117.1m, while total expenses grew from INR4427m to INR4782.6m. Earnings per share advanced from a loss of INR7.27 in the year ended 31 March 2023 to a loss of INR3.99 in the same period a year later.
