Adbri releases EvoCem Type GL cement

Adbri is proud to be Australia’s first manufacturer of lower-carbon general purpose limestone Type GL cement, a proven international cement technology. 

Adbri EvoCem Type GL cement is produced locally in Southern Australia, New South Wales, Western Australia and Northern Territory, and has been tried and tested with over 500,000m³ of concrete placed using EvoCem in projects ranging from residential and commercial building to precast and post-tensioned concrete construction.

All 50 US State Departments of Transport have fully adopted Portland limestone cement (the USA equivalent of Australia's Type GL cement) for use in their projects. This also includes the district of Columbia.
