Holcim Colombia appoints new executive president

Martín Costanian has been appointed as the new executive president of Holcim Colombia SA. Mr Costanian will succeed Marco Maccarelli, who will take up new challenges within Holcim.

Holcim Colombia’s new executive president has a degree in science and business administration from the Universidad Católica del Uruguay and has a Master of Business Administration from the Carlson School of Management of the University of Minnesota.

He joined Holcim México SA de CV in 2019 as chief financial officer, playing a key role in the sustainable development of the company. Under his leadership, Holcim México achieved significant milestones, such as the acquisitions of Indar, Pasa and Distribuidora de Concreto del Caribe (Concrecar), which strengthened its presence and capacity in the market. He has also led the Strategy and Growth Directorate in 2024, driving Holcim's growth through strategic actions in the cement, aggregates and ready-mix concrete businesses, as well as expanding the company's solutions and product offering.
