The official launch of CBMI Construction Co Ltd's Calcined Clay Pilot Plant has taken place in Tangshan, Hebei, China. This milestone initiative strengthens the company's ongoing innovation in calcined clay research, including flash calcination, following the launch of the Chinese company's alternative raw materials laboratory.
Professor Karen Scrivener from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Lausanne (EPFL) joined CBMI Construction Co for this important event. As a prominent leader in sustainable construction and the pioneer of LC3 Project - Low Carbon Cement, Professor Scrivener shared her enthusiasm for the pilot plant’s potential to contribute to green, low-carbon material research.
CBMI warmly invites industry peers to collaborate and make use of the pilot plant for testing, working together to advance the future of green construction through our full chain system.
CBMI not only has advanced pilot plant facilities but also has successfully delivered numerous engineering projects worldwide, including the SPL calcined clay project in France, the CIZ calcined clay project (rotary calciner) in Czechia, the Guayaquil calcined clay project in Ecuador, and the Côte d'Ivoire calcined clay project (flash calciner).
