Attock Cement informed the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) that it had successfully commissioned a 4.8MW wind turbine project at its Hub site. The listed company shared the development in a notice, which says, “We would like to convey the information that our windmill of 4.8MW capacity has been successfully commissioned and is now fully operational with effect from 15 January 2025.”

As the last annual report mentioned, this would further strengthen the company's commitment to manufacturing cement using the most environmentally friendly methods and reduce its power costs.

Attock Cement, located in Hub, District Lasbela, Balochistan, was established in 1981. It produces and sells cement and clinker and is one of the leading cement manufacturers in Pakistan. The company started commercial production in 1988 and is listed on the PSX.
