Paraguay’s Industria Nacional de Cement (INC) sold 12,105,570m bags of cement in 2024, up 39 per cent YoY when compared with sales in 2023. The level enabled the state-owned company to cover 35 per cent of the national requirement despite the low water levels of the Paraguay River, its main transport corridor.
Output by the company reached 523,156t. Clinker production increased by 51 per cent YoY.
“Our market leadership is not only reflected in quantitative results but also in the positive perception that citizens have of our product. This recognition has materialised with the award obtained by the National Cement Industry with Cemento Vallemi, being recognised as the most preferred, most used and most remembered brand of 2024 by consumers in the “Cement Brand” category of the 2024 Brand Ranking, awarded by the Chamber of Advertisers of Paraguay (CAP),” said the INC.
