Ultracem announced through Ultracem Centroamérica SA, it is selling part of its assets in Honduras. The deal was carried out through the indirect sale of Duracem Honduras shares to Blackriver Overseas SA.
The US$56m transaction is part of Ultracem’s corporate strategy to focus its business on cement and concrete production in Colombia to continue expanding and consolidating its activities in the cement and concrete sectors, said the company.
Colombia-based Ultracem is also active in Panama and Guatemala.
