Heidelberg Materials Italia Cementi has renewed its concession with Gioia Tauro port, ensuring its continued operations in the port.
The renewed concession maintains its current surface area of over 6900m2 but extends the duration from four to 10 years, a period set to expire at the end of 2034.
Heidelberg Materials has been active in the port for over 25 years and operates two silos along the western quay with storage capacities of 9000t and 4000t. Last year, it handled 40,000t of bulk cement through the arrival of 10 vessels.
