JK Lakshmi posts 59% drop in income in 3QGY24-25

JK Lakshmi Cement Ltd reported unaudited consolidated revenue from operations for the three months ended 31 December 2024 (3QFY24-25) of INR14.968bn (US$172.9m), down 12.1 per cent from INR17.028bn in the 3QFY23-24. 

The company’s third-quarter EBITDA declined 33.9 per cent from INR3.188bn in 2023 to INR2.108bn in 2024. 

The total comprehensive income attributable to owners of the parent fell 59.2 per cent YoY to INR585.8m in the 3QFY24-25 from INR1434.4m in the 3QFY23-24.

In the 9MFY24-25 the company’s unaudited consolidated revenue from operations decreased 36.7 per cent to INR42.95bn from INR67.88bn in the 9MFY23-24. 

EBITDA declined 51.5 per cent to INR5.439bn in the 9MFY24-25 from INR11.203bn in the 9MFY23-24.

The total comprehensive income attributable to owners of the parent dropped 76 per cent to INR1.139bn in the 9MFY24-25 from INR4.739bn in the 9MFY23-24.
