Holcim El Salvador has opened a new distribution centre in San Miguel to reinforce its presence in the eastern part of the country.
The new centre will optimise access to Holcim’s Fuerte and Maestro cements, part of the company’s ECOPlanet range. It also aims to improve logistics for customers who will no longer have to travel to Metapán to stock up on cement.
The new distribution centre has adequate access for trailers and small trucks, ensuring a streamlined loading and shipping process. The minimum available shipment is 40 bags of cement, facilitating order planning based on the requirements of each project.
"The opening of this new centre is a demonstration of our commitment to the development of the eastern region, where we aim to continue supporting our clients in the construction of their projects and the growth of their businesses. That's why we're now offering them a closer and more efficient alternative for purchasing their trusted cements," said Yaosca Velásquez, logistics director at Holcim El Salvador.
