Pakistan based Thatta Cement Co Ltd reported it has commissioned the 4.8MW wind power project at its Thatta plant in Makli, Sindh, on 4 April 2025. The project was completed ahead of schedule and marks a significant milestone for the company, according to Pakistan Press International.
Combined with the 5MW solar facility, the wind power project brings the company's total installed capacity from renewable energy sources to 9.8MW. The completion of the project is expected to improve Thatta Cement’s operational efficiency and strengthen its market position.
