Vertical Wind Energy manufacture, supply and install vertical axis wind turbines for the generation of grid tied electricity. The machines offered are of one the worlds most technically advanced designs, yet are also considered to be among the world’s best value wind turbines for their class. The company currently have a 3 kW machine with a 6 kW version due for release late 2009. These units are robust commercial machines mounted on floodlighting sized columns. A current typical payback time in the UK, in a reasonable wind area and without feed in tariffs, is less than 10 years. Larger machines are in development for release in 2010 – 2011.
