Cockburn Cement fined for odour breaches

Cockburn Cement Ltd (CCL) has been fined AUD290,000 (US$191,000) for odour breaches from its Munster cement plant, according to the Government of Western Australia. The company was charged with six counts of causing unreasonable odour between January and April 2019, contravening the Environmental Protection Act 1986. Adbri reports 8% rise in revenue in 2022

Adbri has reported an 8.4 per cent YoY increase in revenue in 2022 to AUD1.7bn (US$1142m), driven by price increases and volume growth across most product lines. Cement Australia has made its first delivery in New South Wales using its new Janus JE410 truck, which is believed to be the first fully manufactured electric Class A truck in Australia.
