Cementarnica Usje reports 40% increase in 9M net profit

Cementarnica Usje , North Macedonia, posted flat operating revenues at MKD4.7bn (US$82.9m) for the first nine months of 2024. However, thanks to a 12 per cent YoY drop in operating expenses to MKD3bn, the company, which is part of Greece-based Titan Group, was able to report a 40 per cent increase in net profit to MKD1.5 during the January-September period.

Usje sees 58% jump in net profit in 1Q24

Cementarnica Usje AD of North Macedonia, part of the Titan group, reported a six per cent increase in domestic sales to MKD840.2m (US$14.6m) in the 1Q24 while export sales are up seven per cent YoY to MKD348.1m. The company also posted a three per cent YoY increase in operating revenue to MKD1.2bn in the first three months of 2024. Operating costs were down 10 per cent to MKD812.7m. As a result, net profit surged 58 per cent YoY to MKD299.9m.

Cementarnica Usje sees 9M net profit up 77%

North Macedonia-based Cementarnica Usje , owned by Greek cement producer Titan, reported 77 per cent YoY increase in net profit to MKD1.1bn (US$19m) in the January-September 2023 period. The company’s operating expenses declined 17 per cent YoY to MKD3.4bn in the 9M23 as material costs fell 23 per cent YoY to MKD1.9bn. It total operating revenue slipped by two per cent YoY to MKD4.8bn in the 9M23.

Cementarnica Usje posts 13% drop in net profit in 2022

Cementarnica Usje , the North Macedonian subsidiary of Titan, reported a 13 per cent YoY drop in net profit to MKD1bn (US$17.2m) in 2022 as costs increased. Operating expenses were up 41 per cent YoY to MKD5.8bn in 2022 as raw material costs increased by 67 per cent YoY to MKD3.5bn. Operating revenue advanced 25 per cent YoY to MKD6.7bn in 2022. Sales within Macedonia increased 26 per cent YoY to MKD4.1bn while export sales were up 22 per cent YoY to MKD2.3bn in 2022.

Usje posts 41% net profit drop in 9M22

Cementarnica Usje , the North Macedonian subsidiary of Titan, reported a drop in net profit by 41 per cent to MKD621.2m (US$9.9m) in the first nine months of 2022 when compared with the year-ago period. Cementarnica Usje posts 8% revenue increase

North Macedonia’s Cementarnica Usje has announced a seven per cent YoY fall in net profit to MKD1.1bn (US$20.7m) in the first nine months of 2021. Operating revenue advanced eight per cent to nearly MKD4bn in the 9M21. Domestic sales increased five per cent to MKD2.5bn, while sales on foreign markets rose 21 per cent to MKD1.4bn. The company’s operating expenses were up 19 per cent YoY MKD2.8bn in the January-September period.

Cementarnica Usje reports 5% rise in profit

North Macedonia's Cementarnica Usje (Titan group) has reported a 5.1 per cent YoY decline in net profit to MKD182.1m (US$3.6m) in the first quarter of 2021. However, operating revenue increased 9.4 per cent to MKD924.8m. Domestic sales advanced 9.6 per cent to MKD623.4m, while sales from foreign markets rose 24.3 per cent to MKD272.9m. Operating expenses grew 7.6 per cent YoY to MKD699.9m in the first quarter, as costs for materials were up by 84.9 per cent to MKD64.7m.

Cementarnica Usje sees profit up 20%

North Macedonia's Cementarnica Usje (Titan) has seen a 20 per cent YoY increase in net profit to MKD1.5bn (US$29.3m) for 2020. Operating revenue edged up to MKD5.06bn from MKD5.03bn in 2019. Domestic sales rose three per cent YoY to MKD3.2bn, while sales on foreign markets fell 2.6 per cent to MKD1.6bn. Operating expenses also dropped by 5.9 per cent YoY to MKD3.4bn in 2020, as costs for materials were down 11.5 per cent to MKD1.5bn.

Cementarnica Usje BoD president resigns

The president of the Board of North Macedonia-based Cementarnica Usje, Konstantinos Derdemezis, has resigned due to undisclosed reasons. The position will be filled by Yanni Paniaras until the next shareholders’ meeting, said the company in a bourse filing. Mr Paniaras is serving as delegated director in the Board of Directors of Greece-based Titan, Cementarnica Usje’s parent company.

North Macedonia’s Cementarnica Usje (Titan Cement) has reported a 21.5 per cent YoY rise in profit to MKD1.27bn (US$23.15m) in 2019. Domestic sales advanced 8.2 per cent to MKD3.15bn, while international sales climbed 8.7 per cent to MKD1.64bn. Operating revenue increased by 9.5 per cent to MKD5.03bn.
