Kant Cement Plant JSC ( United Cement Group ) has started the development of a new limestone deposit at the Agalatas quarry, Kyrgyz Republic. Residents of an Indonesian island threatened by rising sea levels are suing Holcim over its carbon emissions, according to TopWireNews. The Hallett Group is breaking into Australia’s cement sector by building a AUD125m (US$84.3m) cement plant in Port Augusta to supply green cement.
