Holcim contracts YPF as fuel supplier

YPF signed an agreement to supply natural gas and petcoke to Holcim’s plants in Malagueño (Córdoba), Campana (Buenos Aires province), Capdeville (Mendoza) and Puesto Viejo (Jujuy), Argentina. Holcim Argentina has signed a contract with YPF Luz to replace 35 per cent of its conventionally-sourced energy with wind power. This translates to 142,000Mwh per annum of demand, which YPF Luz will supply from its 30MW Los Teros wind farm.
