LafargeHolcim Laâyoune grinding unit enters operation

LafargeHolcim Maroc has completed the construction of its 0.2Mta grinding unit in Laâyoune, according to the company’s management board. Meanwhile, work has started on the building of a new 1.7Mta cement works in Souss. Equipment for the plant has been ordered from Germany-based thyssenkrupp Industrial Solutions.

Ambuja Cements receives state nod for new grinding plant

Odisha's State Level Single Window Clearance Authority (SLSWCA) on Friday gave Ambuja Cement the go-ahead to construct a 1.5Mta cement grinding unit. The LafargeHolcim group's Indian concern has proposed the facility be established on 125 acres of land at Jharsuguda, according to Business Standard India.

Holcim Ada plant (LafargeHolcim group) unveiled its upgraded plant at its Ada, Oklahoma, USA, after a three-year modernisation project.
