Maple Leaf Cement Factory Ltd (MLCFL) has started production on its additional dry-process grey clinker line at its Iskanderabad site in Punjab, Pakistan, on 21 May 2019, according to the Company Secretary, Muhammad Ashraf, in a note to the Pakistani Stock Exchange. Maple Leaf Cement Factory Ltd (MLCFL) has announced its financial results for the nine-month period ended 31 March 2019 by declaring a net profit for the period of PKR1.89bn (US$13.34m), down 43.9 per cent YoY as compared to PKR3.37bn in the same period last year. Pakistan’s leading cement manufacturer, Maple Leaf Cement Factory, has announced its 9MFY18 results. The company’s net profit fell 14.7 per cent YoY, to PKR3.37bn (US$29.13m) from PKR3.95bn. Net sales increased 5.9 per cent to PKR19.3bn during the period, mainly due to 20.2 per cent quantitative growth in local sales.
