Taiwan Cement orders more battery power storage

NHOA SA, formerly Engie EPS, has won an order to deliver a 22MWh battery storage project to  Taiwan Cement Corp (TCC). The system will be an expansion of a 10MW facility being installed at TCC's HePing industrial park. IKN commissions Matres-Tolosane clinker cooler

An IKN Pendulum Cooler ® successfully started operation early this year at Martres-Tolosane cement plant in France.   IKN commissioned a 2500tpd cooler for a new production line at the Lafarge France ( Holcim group ) plant. Designed for use of up to 85 per cent alternative fuel, IKN’s clinker cooler reflects is equipped with a most modern single grate drive – dynamic linear drive (DLD), roll crusher with three rolls at the cooler end as well as a bypass.

Bedeschi increases Domicem's reclaiming capacity

Bedeschi has been awarded the complete revamping project to be managed by Domicem ( Colacem group ) for the limestone reclaiming system located at the San Cristobal plant, Dominican Republic. 

 The original stacking and reclaiming equipment, installed by Bedeschi in 2004, allows clay and limestone handling at the plant. MDG Handling Solutions wins Ciplan alternative fuel handling order

MDG Handling Solutions has been awarded the design, manufacture and testing of the complete new mechanical handling system for RDF alternative fuel system for the group Ciplan in Brazil. The project consist of a specially-tailored apron weighing conveyor and a huge main apron feeder as a collector. Tamil Nadu Cement orders 10MW solar power plant

Tamil Nadu Cement Corp Ltd   will be setting up a 10MW solar power plant at an outlay of INR650m (US$8.52m) for captive use, said Minister for Industries, Thangam Thennarasu. As per the Policy Note presented in the Assembly by Mr Thennarasu for 2022-23, Tamil Nadu Cement will construct the solar plant at its   Alangulam cement plant.  The company is also planning to install an alternate fuel feeding system at a cost of INR300m at the new Ariyalur cement plant.

Kanodia Cement completes Amethi grinding plant expansion

Kanodia Cement has set up a new cement grinding unit at its Amethi plant, India. The grinding expansion is already completed and production began in April 2022. Mondi Group’s Mondi Paper Bags business unit has purchased paper bag converting lines from National Bag and Egypt Sack, two subsidiaries of Lafarge Cement Egypt .
