Coal delay sends NOCIBE cement price high12 April 2018, Published under Cement NewsThe ex-works price of cement leaving the Adja-Ouèrè plant of Nouvelle Cimenterie du Bénin (NOCIBE) has jumped from XOF61,880/t (US$116.69/t) to XOF73.780/t, according to Agence Benin Presse. The organisation has attributed the spike to a key coal cargo being held up in the port of Cotonou. The coal is due to be transported to the NOCIBE plant for use in clinker production. |
New Benin plant to be constructed24 January 2012, Published under Cement NewsNouvelle Cimenterie du Bénin (Nocibé) is to construct a 1.5Mta cement plant in Benin, company CEO Latfallah Layousse, said. A contract for the new plant was signed on Friday, according to local press reports. The Nocibé plant will be established in the town of Massa, about 50 miles east of Cotonou, the capital of Benin.
