Two FLSmidth OK mill projects are completed in Bangladesh

FLSmidth has successfully completed two vertical roller mill (VRM) projects in Bangladesh. The two mills were ordered by Premier Cement Mills Ltd. The FLSmidth OK 71-6 cement mill   has been installed at the Dhaka (Munshigonj) plant, with a finish grinding capacity of 460tph. FLSmidth to supply OK mill to CalPortland's Mojave plant

CalPortland has awarded a supply contract to FLSmidth for its Mojave raw mill project. The scope of supply includes engineering, equipment and installation of a new OK 48-4 raw mill with a condition monitoring system and an ECS/ProcessExpert system. Flying Cement to install OK™ mill on new 7700tpd line

Flying Cement Company has placed a major order with FLSmidth for its new 7700tpd production line in Mangwal, Pakistan. FLSmidth will supply a new OK™ 71-6 cement mill, which will be designed to grind OPC cement at a capacity of 415tph. Commissioning is expected in 2020, and the mill will be supplied together with an FLSmidth ILC preheater system, two-Base Kiln, Cross-Bar ® cooler, ROKSH 119 Separator, MAAG ® WPV-5000 gear unit, heat exchanger and three filters.

Bolivia: motor for mill 4000m above sea level

German company Menzel Elektromotoren has delivered two motors to a cement plant in Bolivia for a cement mill and a classifier. The mill in question is not only Bolivia’s first VRM, but at 4000m above sea level it is also the highest installed elevation of an OK mill in the entire Americas.
