HeidelbergCement's turnover increased by 6.7 per cent last year to EUR13,465m and the EBITDA improved by a 14.2 per cent to EUR2612.7m and the trading profit advanced by 15.7 per cent to EUR1846.1m. Vicat’s profits declines in most markets

French cement major Vicat saw its profits decline in most markets last year with the USA and India being the only exceptions. China Resources Cement (CRC) said its profit attributable to owners for the year ended 31 December 2015 dropped 75.9 per cent YoY to HKD1015m (US$130.8m). DG Khan: southern expansion progressing well

Pakistan producer DG Khan Cement has reported that its southern expansion project is progressing well and is scheduled for commissioning in 2QFY18. Cementir Holding's turnover in 2015 recovered by 2.2 per cent to EUR969.0m, but EBITDA emerged just 0.8 per cent ahead at EUR194m. Trinidad Cement Co Ltd said it recorded its highest ever revenue of TTD2.1bn (US$319m), an increase of TTD12.4m compared to a year earlier despite facing increased competition. Kenya's Bamburi Cement posted a 46 per cent rise in full-year pretax profit to KES8.46bn (US$83.51m), helped by increased sales and investment income and foreign exchange gains. CRH's turnover rose by 25 per cent in 2015 to EUR23,635m while the EBITDA advanced by 35.2 per cent to EUR22198m. The trading profit increased by 39.3 per cent to EUR1277m.
