The Cement Company of Northern Nigeria (CCNN), part of BUA Group, has declared a post-tax profit of US$9.64m for the 2014 financial year, increasing by 23.1 per cent YoY. Shanshui Cement on Friday said it expects to record a loss in net profit for the six months ended 30 June 2015 compared to the net profit of the same corresponding period in 2014, adding that the loss is expected to be "relatively significant." Attock Cement reported an after-tax profit of PKR2.21bn (US$21.7m) in FY14-15, up 9.5 per cent compared to PKR2bn in the last fiscal year. Revenues climbed 4.3 per cent to PKR13bn during the review period compared to PKR12.5bn, AKD Research said in its report. Holcim Philippines net quarter down 7.5% YoY

Holcim Philippines Inc said Monday second-quarter net profit was down 7.5 per cent YoY, hurt by rising expenses. Holcim said the April-June quarter net profit declined to PHP1.5bn (US$33.5m) from PHP1.65bn in the year-earlier period. China Resources Cement said its profit attributable to owners for the six months ended 30 June 2015 dropped 25.6 per cent YoY to HK$1530.2m. The basic earnings per share were HK23.4 cents. National Cement Co first half ahead 4.7%

National Cement Co (NCC) posted a net profit of AED70.2m (US$19.11m) in the first half of 2015, a rise of 4.7 per cent from AED67m (US$18.24m) in the corresponding period from last year. NCC’s profits for Q2-15 saw a marginal increase to AED33.73m compared to AED33.13m in the same period in 2014, according to a filing to the Dubai Financial Market (DFM) on Thursday. Ras Al Khaimah Cement reported a 22.3 per cent profit drop to AED2.45m ($667,000) in the first half of 2015, compared to AED3.15m (US$858,000) in the same period of 2014, according to a filing to the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange.

Asia Cement (China) said its profit attributable to owners for the six months ended 30 June 2015 plunged 97.4 per cent YoY to CNY9.85m, attributable to the decrease in average selling price of the company's products. The revenue was CNY3006m, a decrease of 23.1 per cent from a year earlier. The gross profit margin on revenue dropped to 14 per cent from 24 per cent.
