ScanTogo and CimBénin donate EUR39,636 to biosphere reserve

ScanTogo and CimBénin (HeidelbergCement group) have donated EUR39,636 to support a project for the Sustainable Management of Biodiversity in the Mono Transboundary Biosphere Reserve, on the border of Benin and Togo. HeidelbergCement plans to invest EUR25m in Togo

HeidelbergCement intends to invest EUR25m (US$28.2m) in its Togolese subsidiaries Cimtogo, Scantogo and Granutogo, according to Eric Goulignac, the company’s managing director in the country. Scan Togo Awandjelo works to be inaugurated

Scan Togo’s new works at Awandjélo in Togo’s Kara region will be inaugurated on 15 July, according to local news reports. The HeidelbergCement-owned works represents an investment of US$15m and is expected to produce 0.2Mta of cement.

Sinoma-owned Chengdu Design & Research Institute of Building Materials Industry Co Ltd, the general contractor for Scantogo's new 5000tpd cement production line in Togo, has awarded Gebr Pfeiffer SE the contract for an MPS 5000 B vertical roller mill for raw material grinding.
