HeidelbergCement’s positive sales development in the first quarter of 2021 continued in the second quarter, leading to a 9.7 per cent YoY increase in cement and clinker sales volumes to 61.8Mt in the first half of 2021 from 56.3Mt in the year-ago period. Bedeschi has signed a new order with Italcementi (HeidelbergCement group) for the supply of clay handling equipment and other sticky materials. Breedon Group Plc has announced unaudited interim results for the six months ended 30 June 2021 with revenues reaching GBP600.9m compared with GBP335.3m in the 1H2020.
