Spain’s Ministry of Economy has extended CEMEX’ s licence to expand the Serreta Larga quarry in Alicante, Spain. The quarry supplies limestone and marl to the San Vicente del Raspeig cement plant and will now be able to operate for a further 30 years. Holcim Belgium is joining forces with Fluxys to meet the cement producer's carbon neutral objectives as part of its Go4Zero programme. Germany-based developer of predictive analysis software for the cement sector, alcemy has secured EUR10m in a Series A round of funding led by Galvanize Climate Solutions.
