PT Semen Indonesia24 April 2019, Published under Cement NewsOn 23 April Semen Indonesia received an award from the secretary general of the country’s Ministry of Environment and Forestry. The accolade was in recognition of the 227.26ha that Semen Indonesia has reclaimed at its former Tuban factory mine site. Over 308,000 trees have been planted at the site, including teak, mahogany and eucalyptus. To commemorate Earth Day, 3500 Cavendish Banana trees were also planted in the Tlogowaru clay mine area in Merakurak District on 22 April. |
