ACC Ltd commissions new grinding capacity in Tikaria

ACC Ltd has commissioned 1.6Mta grinding capacity in Tikaria , Uttar Pradesh, India. The project has expanded cement capacity at the Tikaria plant to 3.91Mta. “As announced earlier, the company is progressing well to increase its capacity, ie, 2.7Mt of clinker and 4.8Mt of cement by 2024,” said ACC MD and CEO, Sridhar Balakrishnan.

UltraTech Cement commissions Bara grinding unit Line II

UltraTech Cement (Aditya Birla Group) has commissioned Line II of its Bara grinding unit in Uttar Pradesh, India, having cement capacity of 2Mta. STAS Engineering to work on Bursa Cimento upgrade project

STAS Engineering and Erk Proje will help Bursa Çimento Fabrikasi AS to decrease carbon emission rates while increasing its production capacity with a new raw meal silo, preheater tower, rotary kiln, clinker cooler and clinker silos. The main technology supplier is FLSmith from Denmark and CETA Makina is the contractor. The work on the Turkish cement plant is due to be completed in the first months of 2022.

Twiga Cement commissions rehabilitated cement mill

As part of the strategic development plan at Twiga Cement factory (HeidelbergCement group) has rehabilitated the cement Mill No 2 (CM2) at the plant. The project represents an investment if US$3.2m and it was officially inaugurated on 16 November 2021 by the Prime Minister of Tanzania, H E Kassim Majaliwa. Cameroonian Prime Minister, Joseph Dion Nguté, laid the first stone of the new 0.5Mta production line of Cimenteries du Cameroun (Cimencam) in Figuil, in the northern part of the country, last week. Cemex plans Guatemalan expansion

Cemex will increase its cement capacity in Guatemala by early 2023 with a new grinding mill at the Arizona facility in the port of San José.
