India’s cement sector is expected to see growth in the 4QFY22-23 of around six per cent YoY and 13 per cent QoQ, according to a new report by Antique Stock Broking Ltd (ABS). Bangladesh cement exports surpass target by 20.7% in 9MFY23

Bangladesh has reported 48.7 per cent YoY growth in cement export revenue to US$9.68m in the 9MFY22-23 (July 2022-March 2023). This compares to US$6.51m in the same period a year earlier.   The value of the target set for this period also saw a healthier growth of 20.7 per cent. UltraTech sees 12% hike in sales volume in FY22-23

UltraTech Cement , part of Aditya Birla Group , has reported a 12 per cent advance in consolidated sales volume, including its overseas operations  in UAE, Bahrain and Sri Lanka, to 106Mt in the FY22-23, ending March 2023. In the 4QFY22-23 sales volumes were up 15 per cent YoY to 30Mt from 26Mt while consolidated sales increased by 14 per cent YoY to 32Mt from 28Mt.
