Quarry plans on hold07 December 2007, Published under Cement NewsCastle Cement’s plans to import limestone to a quarry site are on hold. Castle Cement wants to import 50,000t of stone into its Ketton site. An initial planning application was to import 250,000tpa of limestone, which could have meant about 32 trucks a day travelling through Tinwell and Ketton before the figure was revised. India Shree Cement Nov shipments up 13 per cent YoY07 December 2007, Published under Cement NewsShree Cement Ltd said on Thursday its November shipments rose 13.12 per cent to 4.57Mt from 4.04Mt a year earlier. It’s total shipments between April to November 2007 rose 24.3 per cent to 38.48Mt from 30.96Mt in the same period a year ago, the company said in a statement.
