Turkish Adana Cimento Exports to Iraq at US$5.7m 2003

Turkish cement manufacturer and retailer Adana Cimento in Adana, southern Turkey, exported 160,000t of cement worth US$5.7m  to Iraq for 2003, the company’s director general Cengiz Gocer said. Adana Cimento plans to boost cement exports to Iraq to 200,000 tonnes in 2004, Gocer added.

Cheung Kong Infrastructure Holdings (CKI), controlled by tycoon Li Ka-shing, said it will merge its concrete unit Anderson Asia (Holdings) Limited with the Hong Kong arm of Hanson PLC.
