Holcim intends to drive profitable growth in Europe, reaching CHF10bn (US$11.1bn) in net sales and CHF1.6bn in EBIT by 2026 with increasing margins. Deutsche Bank clamps down on emissions targets

Deutsche Bank has reportedly set emissions targets for loans to clients in the cement sector as part of the bank’s net-zero target for 55 per cent of its financed emissions. The UK government has announced GBP3.75m (US$4.78m) in new funding for artificial intelligence (AI) solutions to accelerate industrial decarbonisation across the country.
