The data apply to members of the domestic cement association, APC – Asment Temara, Ciments de l’Atlas, Ciments du Maroc and Holcim Maroc. In the January-October 2021 period 11.491Mt of cement was supplied to the domestic market by these producers, a 16.1 per cent increase when compared with 9.898Mt in the 10M20. |

Algeria’s SSCB exported 25,000t of cement in 9M2101 October 2021, Published under Cement NewsSociété Saoura Ciment de Béchar (SSCB), part of Algeria-based GICA, exported 25,000t of cement to African countries such as Mali, Niger and Mauritania since the start of the year. Carthage Cement lowers cement price15 September 2021, Published under Cement NewsTunisia-based Carthage Cement announced it will lower its wholesale prices for cement to TND150 (US$53.81) per 30t truck for two months. The decision will come into effect from 13 September 2021.
