So3 / cement

Dear Sirs

 Kindly, what should be the allowable SO3% in clinker ?, .If the answer Will 2 % , What should be the allowable Gypsum add  % to grinding that clinker in cement mill ??

Hello Sir,

From the your question I have share my answer which is which type of cement u have been allowable SO3  target. By the common answer SO3 target is 2.3 to 2.8%.

Second thing it should be balanced about 5% of gypsum.95% of clinker.

thank you very much for help and please the cement type is SRC with max SO3 2.5 %

and my problem with high S03 limit in clinker 1.8 - 2 % . that`s give rise to  complication gypsum addition in cement product . And i had another question . can i grind the high So3 clinker with out gypsum ??

SO3 IN CLINKER IS  BASED UPON TYPE OF FUEL.IF ITS PRODUCED BY  100% PET COKE THAN% MAX IN CL.IS 2.0%. BUT  ADDING GYP.  DEPEND UPON THE SETTING TIME OF TYPE OF CEMENT.
