re Limestone

Perhaps Ted is very busy. I will answer. Because the limestone can produce with products of hydration of cement hydrocarboaluminate of calcium 3CaO·Al2O3·CaCO3·11 H2O [i], hydrocarbonat of calcium - CaCO3 ·Ca(OH)2·H2O [ii],[iii] and hydrosulfocarbosilicate of calcium (taumasit) CaO·SiO2·CaSO4·CaCO3·15 H2O [iv]. The introduction of 12-15% limestone increases the density of cement stone, frost resistance and durability. The introduction of 20%  limestone helps when you save the physico-mechanical properties of the cement stone to save the equivalent quantity of cement.
