If you can give following parameters it is easy to know the basic reason for high power consumption.

PH fan inlet static pressure (mmwg)

PH fan inlet temperature.

PH fan inlet gas density.

PH fan outlet static pressure (mmwg)

If possible PH fan flow as measured (m3/hr)

Please check the dust load at Ph fan .

If the recirculating dust load is high due to any reason (1) may be problem in top cyclone efficiency, (2) very fine rawmix etc. than there is a chance that dust load will be very high at fan inlet which increases the power consumption of the fan due to change in the density.

If dust load is increased by 10 gm/m3( i.e from 50 to 60 gm/m3), then power consumption will be increased by 7 to 8 kwh for a fan with 220000 m3/hr volume.

Dear ,

Ph fan  sp. power  loading is very good according to  fan efficiency. But  i want to know that your have use two fan for preheater (as kiln string  and pyro string).or  single fan .
