Syngenite (K2SO4.CaSO4.H2O) can only form if there is sufficient K2SO4 in the cement. One way of reducing the tendency of syngenite formation is to limit the clinker K2O. However hot cement is usually a far bigger problem, as it can happen no matter what the clinker chemistry may be.

Can you please explain the working of grinding aid or performance enhancers. What are there activity with the cement particles/phases.
