Gulf Business Machines (GBM) has completed the roll out of a an IBM hardware project for the Oman Cement Company.

The IBM distributor provided servers, storage and disaster recovery systems for the Oman Cement Company, to give them resilient, scalable architecture, with flexibility for future use.

The IBM Power Systems servers will run Oman Cement Company’s ERP solution. The project also includes IBM Tivoli Storage Manager for backup.

IBM solutions were chosen as part of the company’s need to improve its IT infrastructure to support its operations.
